Now that the festival season is in full swing, it can only mean one thing – we’re one step closer to summer. In case you haven’t heard, Coachella -The California Music & Arts Festival has begun and will go on until the 24th April. To summarise, it’s basically a blend of boho/hipster chic, plenty of flower crowns and palm springs, plus a moshpit full of music lovers, living life to the fullest in the middle of a desert. The CCD Beauty girls have rounded up a few beauty essentials/tips to help you survive the craze. If you are heading for Coachella, well (we’re not jealous at all!) hopefully this post will be somewhat helpful. And if you’re not, we feel your pain but these essentials/tips can also be very helpful for the warmer months.
Skin
First up SPF, SPF, SPF! Don’t run the risk of getting red and raw from the sun, you’ll look and feel unattractive. So do sun protection the lazy girl way with Boots Soltan Once Invisible Pump Spray, £10. This summer festival essential will give you up to 8 hours protection!
Next you want to keep your face moisturised throughout the day. (But girls, this isn’t just a spring/summer beauty tip, so never skip it). Your lips are almost melanin free, so protecting them from the sun should be your priority especially if you’re planning on coating them with lip products. Makeup
The last thing you want is for your makeup to be melting off mid way through a medley.
